Amaya Estrada, born in Northern Virginia, is a multimedia artist living and working in South Florida. Her work acts as a vessel of exploration into cultural identity and duality through the scope of installation, sculpture, painting, and print media. Unearthing tension between environmental art and handmade processes, her works also speak to a personal and environmental displacement where the two are intricately associated. Estrada received her BA from Palm Beach Atlantic University, and her work has been exhibited in Black Creativity at the Boynton Beach Art & Cultural Center and in Amaya Estrada: Apathy at Grandview Public Market in West Palm Beach, FL.
