Marcela Ramos Castillo (b. 1992; Los Angeles, California) is an American visual artist based in South Florida. Growing up Mexican American and in a mixed-status immigrant family, her work addresses the nuances of identity and narratives of belonging as they are explored, constructed, and transformed within sociocultural structures. She received a BFA from Rhode Island School of Design (Providence, Rhode Island) in 2014. She is currently a full-time Visual Arts educator at Alexander W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts (West Palm Beach, Florida).
