Biography

Nina Davidowitz is a self-taught artist whose work has evolved over fifty years of experimentation. Currently, she works mostly in acrylic and has a daily photography practice that inspires her compositions. She recently began working with cut paper to create a series of collages that she calls, “a deep dive into color.” Ultimately, her work reflects her interests in nature, historic architecture, and, in a spiritual sense, the magic and healing properties of light.

Davidowitz’s work has been featured in national and regional venues, and she has received awards from the NSPCA (National Society of Painters in Casein and Acrylic) in 2014 and 2016. In the summer of 2017, she was the Featured Artist in Acrylic Artist magazine. A longtime resident of Northeastern PA, she currently resides in Palm Beach County, Florida.
